About Us
It was in 1956, the year in which the Kerala State took birth; the Sreerangom C.V.N. Kalari Chikilsakendram was established by K. Gopinatha Kurup Gurukal. He started the Kalari Chikilsakendram in Champakkara, a little village in Kottayam District under the guidance and blessing of his Guru, C.V Narayanan Nair Gurukkal and his son C.V Govindankutty Nair Gurukkal. This organization is today under the patronage of Sreedhara Kurup Gurukkal, the founder's son, who has been in charge for about 30 years.
The Kalari Chikilsa Kendram, which can now boast of a rich tradition of over 50 years, has been striving right from the beginning relentlessly to the practice of Kalari Chikilsa both within and out side Kerala. The organization desire to make the world understand the benefits of Kalari Chikilsa and to utilize this practice to the maximum good of humanity.
